I have a pionner champion series subwoofer and i need help connecting to my crunch amp?

my sub is a 12″ 2-ohm Dual Voice Coil Subwoofer, 1200 watts max and 400 watts rms. i have crunch 2 channel 1400×1 @ 4 ohms amp. how should i connect my sub. right now i have it bridged so my 1200 watt sub is getting 1400 watts. I’m using 4 gauge wire with a 1/2 farad capacitor.

if both voice coils are 2 ohm then it goes like this: + wire from amp goes to +terminal on one voice coil (VC) the -terminal from that voice coil gets a wire that goes to the + on the other vc and then finally the – from the second vc goes back to the – on the amp this should give you 4 ohms and full power from your amp
