what does it mean by brake light lighting up on my front meter of my n95 nissan altima?

a light is lighting up on my nissan altimas meter in red color what does it mean? means i need new brake oil or something else?

Warning light, take it to a garage and have a brake inspection done. most likly the linings are getting low and when the linings are low the fluid is low and causes the light to turn on. or, it could be a leak in the system, take it to a garage and have it checked.
